What is Musahm?
A Saudi platform for running corporate meetings: general assemblies, board meetings and committee meetings. The invitation, agenda, attendance, voting, minutes and electronic signature all live in one place, and listed and closed companies have been holding their meetings on it since 2021.
Which kinds of meeting can be held on the platform?
Ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies, board meetings, and the meetings of the committees that report to the board. Each one gets the full cycle, from the invitation to the signed minutes.
How is a member or shareholder verified?
By a code sent to the mobile number registered in Absher under that person's national ID. Attendance and votes are therefore tied to the person, not to whoever holds the meeting link.
Which types of voting are supported?
Ordinary voting on each item, cumulative voting, and elective voting to choose members. Results are calculated and appear in the minutes against the item they belong to.
How are the minutes produced and signed?
The minutes are generated from a template the company has approved, or written by hand, then signed electronically inside the platform — nothing is printed or emailed round for signature.
